Deploy guides
One page per stack: what HostStack detects and builds, the commands it runs when you set none, a hoststack.yaml that parses, how the database gets wired in, and what to watch for.
Frameworks
- Deploy Next.jsDetected from package.json; next build and next start with your own package manager. No standalone config needed.
- Deploy Node.jsExpress, Hono or Fastify from package.json, on Node.js or Bun. npm install, npm run build, npm start.
- Deploy Djangomanage.py plus Django in your requirements: collectstatic during the build, gunicorn to serve.
- Deploy Laravelartisan plus composer.json: Composer install, pdo_pgsql and pdo_mysql built in, served with artisan serve.
- Deploy RailsGemfile plus config/application.rb: assets:precompile at build, rails server on $PORT, production env set.
- Deploy FastAPIBuilt as a Python app from requirements.txt or pyproject.toml; you set the uvicorn start command.
- Deploy Gogo.mod wins detection. Built on the newest Go with CGO off, shipped as a static binary on distroless.
Everything runs in the EU
Whichever stack it is, the service, its managed database and the nightly backups run in Helsinki, Finland, and HostStack is operated by MICCI, a Danish company — so there is no US parent for the CLOUD Act to reach, and the GDPR data processing agreement comes with signup on every plan. The free tier runs one service and one Postgres with no card.
Not on the list? Every guide is the same build pipeline underneath, and Deploying covers all ten runtimes, Dockerfiles and rollback. Moving an existing app from another platform? The migration guides have the cutover order for Heroku, Render, Railway, Vercel and Fly.io.
